Hidden down a back street just off Camden high street and barely noticeable when I arrived I thought I had got the wrong venue. the Black heart was very quiet and full of Camden locals. I ventured upstairs to find a tiny stage in a darkened room, I was barley able to see my own hand. It was great. The venue screams indie with a touch of metal, cool posters adorn the wall… almost remisnsamt of the croft in bristol. So on came KyTe, I really didn’t know what to expect and boy was I surprised! The four piece from leister could barely fit on the tiny stage! They reminded me of the heavy days of British sea power and thirteen senses, additionally the lead singer had an air of Neil Hannon. The band started and the drum beat was loud with an early 2000s sound. of the whole band the drummer really stood out with his drummer boy beats!!All in all a good gig but could have done with a bit more interaction and atmosphere from the audience.
